HELLO EVERYONE!
i finally have internet connection.
haha! i tricked you! i didn't leave friday but thursday!!!! suckers! (actually, i didn't know either.so i'm a sucker too.)
me and my dad are in vienna right now, we are leaving to marrow but i will give a quick recap on what has happened here.
we took a 4 hour train ride here and got to our hotel late at night. the next morning i was up at 4 in the morning cause of the time difference. so we left the hotel at six. we went out looking for breakfast, but everything was closed. so we had to wait until seven to get sweet bread and coffee. we went to a TWO STORY starbucks and stayed until nine. so we sat there for an hour and a half. my dad fell asleep and i read my book. after that we went to a museum dedicated to elisabeth, of the austrian-hungarian empire. it was pretty cool, and she had the most exquisite silver collection. and by silver, i mean gold, silver, porcelain, bronze, etc. NOT just silver. after that, we came back to the hotel and i took a nap, cause i was so tired cause i had woke up at 4 am. when i woke up, i got dressed up in my pretty evening dress and we went to a concert in a PALACE!!!! it was really good and the music was superb, except that i was very tired and was drowsy the whole time.
after the concert, we went back to the hotel where i fell asleep immediately. this morning i slept in till nine and now i am fully adjusted to the time. yay! any way, we went out to breakfast where i had a apple strudel,( i forgot to mention, before the concert, we went to a small cafe and had an excellent apple strudel. simply delicious.) after breakfast, we went t a pedestrian area, where there were an abundance of shops. but since it is sunday here, all the shops are closed. (i think my dad planned it that way.) but guess what i saw, A CLAiRES! CAN U BELIVE IT? i know i was so psyched! after i took a pic at claires, we went into st. stephens cathedral. it was beautiful and they had a small area dedicated to st. therese of lisieux, which is one of the saints my parents named me after. and look how i turned out! ha! after that, we went to the international movie festival, where they had food from many different countries. me and my father got food from iran. and after we were done eating but were still there reading, it began to pour. so we ran for the tram.(ha! i'm a poet and i didn't even know it!) we took the tram to the hotel sacher. and ate there famous chocolate torte. for those of you who don't know what that is, it is a very expensive, unbelievably sweet chocolate cake. we stayed for about half an hour. eating cake and sipping hot chocolate and coffee latte' (i had the hot chocolate.) we left there and came back to our hotel room. and here i am.
i want to give a special shout out to pop, who is going into a treatment. so i hope all goes well. get well soon pop!!!
peec!
