last day in salzburg. from here we go right back where we started, and where i'll be living for the rest of the month. any hoo, today me and dad to the 'sound of music tour. it was actually really cool! our tour guide was funny and very nice. opposed to the other tour guide we could've gotten. a very melon colly disposition. all fact fact fact. not like our joke, fact, humor guy! i'm very glad we got him. but enough talk about our tour guide. i'm probably boring you out of your puny minds! ha! GH. today was sunny, (a miracle!) and a little windy but good weather none the less. we saw the church in which maria and captain von trap were married, the gazebo that stars in all the love scenes, and the lake where they all fell out of the boat. and another lake to which i can't remember which part- oh yes i remember! it was the lake where they were singing do-re-mi near. you would've had to see the movie to know what i'm talking about. so if you haven't seen it, WELL RENT IT FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!!! (except when you on an amish farm and you have no blockbuster near you. that's the only exception.) other than that, you should be able to rent it. we also saw the mirabelle garden but not on the tour though. we saw it when we first came here. that's the place where you see them racing, running and dancing around fountains and that stuff.
Quick shout out to krissy: they had the most GORGEOUS little red flowers there. made me think of you.
anyway, we got to the town where they had the church where maria got married and had a delish apple strudel, (i've had a lot of those l8tly.) and did a little gift shopping. i got a doll for my doll collection and a small statue of the virgin mary. ye it's beautiful and NO it wasn't cheap. it cost around 70 US dollars but it was so beautiful, so i bought it for my family. ah well. there went all the money i could've spent on european shoes. but it was worth it. and besides, my dad wouldn't have let me even walk into a shoe store, seeing as he's not really one for fashion, and also, i don't think even 70 dollars would've bought european shoes anyway. so i'll just spend the rest of my money on GERMAN CHOCOLATE!!! yes friends in arizona, i am bringing home a big box of chocolate and NO! YOU CAN'T HAVE ANY! MUA HA HA HA!!!!!!! JK! :) the chocolate they have here are called mozart balls. (no comment) and they are very good. (no comment.) i got a cute shirt that has an animated goober mozart. 2 qt 4 words. (quick swich on subject. it's not german chocolate, it's austrian chocolate that comes from a country that speaks german. EXQUSE ME!) well i g2g but i'll ttyl
peec!
