Hi!
Well Orlando was probably the quickest week of this trip so far! It flew by! I loved all the parks and some of my favourite rides (yes I am having more than one favourite dad haha) were The Simpsons one, The Hulk, Spiderman and Jurassic Park (which we got absolutely soaked on!) We also met the Simpsons and got all embarrassed and shy (imagine if we actually met real celebs and not just people in foam costumes!) Hayley wanted to go to the Barnie the Dinosaur show too, it was us and a bunch of little kids and he got everyone to stand up and sing a song, it was an original Barnie song and I'm ashamed to say we both know the words, but I have a 2 year old cousin as my excuse! haha. We got our picture with him too it was quite embarrassing! We went to a park everyday and in total we went to Disney Magic Kingdom, Disney Epcot, Aquatica, Sea World, Universal Studios and Universal Island of Adventure. I can't even pick a favourite because they all had really good parts to them.
The last night we went out for a meal, it was a 3 course one for only $12 dollars and it was amazing, I'm hooked on fish since I got to America and I never would have ate it at home, I don't know what's happened to me!
Today at the airport we met someone else from camp who was on our flight, not only that but he was also sitting next to us on the plane! How random is that? The flight was only 2 and a half hours long so it was nice but it took 2 hours to drive to the hostel from the airport so we never arrived until 6pm. It's pouring down as well except here it's actually not that warm. I appreciate that after the horrible Florida weather though, definately my least favourite so far! Our hostel here in New York is nice but the room is TINY, by far the smallest we've stayed in, there isn't room for us to pass each other we have to wait for the other person to move onto the beds haha. It has a fridge though, the only problem is there's no microwave or kettle so we're not sure what to do for dinner yet. There's also a gym in our hostel and by gym I don't mean some small thing, it's massive like a proper gym! It's free too and so is the pool so we're going to take advantage of that and work off the extra weight I've put on!
Tomorrow we're meeting up with another girl from our camp called Tina who lives in Brooklyn, not sure what we're going to do yet we haven't decided but hopefully the rain will hold off!
Anyway I think I've rambled on long enough, I'll try and phone home if I get my hands on a phone card, if not I will try and get online again soon. Hope all is well!
Love Hannah xxx
