Wow guys, these pictures are definitely the best so far. I am speechless. This seems to have been the most incredible part of your adventure!!!!! At times, I wondered whether you hadnt been transported back to the world of dinosaurs. Phew some of thos iguanas looked terrifying to me. It sounds so exciting and so interesting and you both look wonderful.
All is well this end of the world. The Bach's have become real globe trotters. I returned from London on Wednesday and Dave left the same night for South Africa for a mere 4 days. A very close friend of his celebrated his 60th birthday and Dave decided very last minute to go and share this milestone birthday with them all. We actually missed each other in the air - I was on my way home and he was leaving, but he returns tomorrow morning after what sounds like a superb few days.
I had a great time in London and treasured every moment with Dani and Ben. She is actually showing a tiny bump if you look really hard..... She feels great and looks great, so all is well. She enters her 15th week on Wednesday and its all so exciting. I went with her to the hospital for a check up during my visit and we saw the baby together on an ultrasound screen. Very emotional moment for the future granny!!. She is hoping to fly home around March 7 which is fantastic so we will all get to share the last months of the pregnancy. Its just a pity that Ben wont be here full time, but what can you do.
Ilan and Efrat are fine and both working very hard. We had a nice quiet weekend - just the 3 of us which was actually great. Went out for dinner on friday night for delicious steaks at Ad Ha Etzem which was a treat and thoroughly enjoyed by all. I went to see Slumpdog Millionaire last night which I really enjoyed. A good inside look at India which in truth looks horrific from a parental point of view. Makes me wonder even more how Ilan survived so many months there.
Well, not much else to tell you, enjoy the next leg of your journey and we await the next blog with photos. Love and a big hug to you both.
As always XXXXXX

Just a quick note to wish you both a wonderful trip to Ecuador. The true adventure part of your trip awaits and I know it is going to be incredible. Take care, stay safe, look after each other and treasure every moment of the wonderful memories you are going to make. We all miss you but knowing you are having such a great trip, makes it ok......... I am off to brave the cold next week in London - just a quickie - 5 days with the kids and then back home again. All being well, Dani will be back in Israel permanently from sometime in March. Ben will commute for a few more months to finish up all his projects, but soon, soon, they will be calling Israel their home once again.
Love and hugs to you both,
LYN

Good morning you lucky, lucky guys,
Well, I have just had the treat of all treats reading your latest blog and looking through the photos. I think, so far, this looks like the most beautiful place you have been to. And of course, those photos of the chocolate - well, simply ein milim. I think if Dave has had a good look at the photos, he would be phoning the airlines to book a one way ticket - never to be seen again. I was hoping for a photo of those famous steaks........... That dessert you had prepared for you sure looked professional. It really sounds like you guys had an absolute ball. Guy, I have to admit - I am very proud of you my boy - horse riding, bicycle riding - you are full of surprises...... I hope that Hagar is feeling fine now. I am sure that the best medicine was bar after bar of cadbury's chocolate. Mom told me that this apartment you are now staying in is something absolutely luxurious and wonderful, so enjoy the spoil and take lots of pictures so we can see where you are slumming it..... Lots of love and hugs to you both.

Hi Guys,
Great, great new photos. You look like you are having an absolute ball. I believe you have even started becoming something of a "carnivore" and enjoyed delicious assado in Barriloche. MMMMM I am jealous and hope it was delicious. What does it feel like to eat meat again after so long? All is well back home, everyone misses you lots and lots and think the feline members of your family are driving your mom crazy. Lots of screeching and hissing, but who knows, by the time you back, they may have even learnt to like each other.
Contine to enjoy this incredible adventure and looking forward to hearing from you again soon.
Lotsa luv from us all.

Hey there Guy and Hagar,
Have been really busy lately with one thing and another so haven't had time to write. I see there's some penguin trying to get all fancy on the blog page - I hiss at you penguin, in your little black and white suit.
Had a bit of a giggle the other day - the woman who lives in the house with us had her hair done, and talk about "Bad hair day", - well, to say the least Connie and I (yeah, we kind of agreed to play it cool for a few hours ) stayed out of her way.
She'd had her hair blow dried at the hairdreser - bad move!! I don't understand why she cant just lick her head, shake her hair and start the day., like I do.
All is well here - been raining a bit, so am speding time under my blanky in the tv room
Greys Anatomy starts tomorrow nite, and Dexter on Wednesday - do you want me to record them for you?
Hear there's a new dog in town- well in Rosh Ha'ayin ac tually - will have to check him out - I'm n ot p=articularly worried, as I know my beauty is unbeatable - but I better check him out anyway.
exhausted from all this typing, better go and hav a catnap Waiting for blogs and photos from Barriloche,
Maiouw, purr, xx

Hey Hagar and Guy
Well you may not know me so well
But I must tell you - you should be ashamed of your self
You visit my island the other day
Took pictures
Hugs kisses and all the bools*** people do
I thought you will leave some fish but... never mind
I catch them later by myself
But the thing is you did not tell me you had truffle back at home
Such a lovely organism
What is it doing for living?
Can it catch fish?
How does it wake up in the morning?
Please invite it to our island - I will show her around
I promise to let you take some pictures you will never forget
And while you are coming bring some apple juice with you
That s all fox
Must run to the show
I am teaching everybody the hoopla hole dance

Wow, Wow, Wow - your messages just get better and better. I honestly felt that if I closed my eyes, I could literally "see" what you were describing. What a 10 days you have had and I know its only going to get better and better. You dont mention the cold at all whichI suppose is a good sign, but it must be mighty freezing with glaciers and all that snow surrounding you all the time. These must be some of the most beautiful places in the world and just imagine, you are going to have these memories for the rest of your lives to treasure. Keep up the fantastic reports, we await the next adventure in the next episode.
All is good back home. Summer weather prevails and we all await the rains with anticipation, but sadly, they dont seem to be anywhere in sight. Quite a worry. London kids are great and counting the days till they come already. I am actually going to visit for a few days next month which is wonderful. I have not chosen the greatest time as it is absolutely freezing there at the moment, but cest la vie. Ilan is well into his studies and working really hard, but seeming to enjoy it immensely. Not much else to tell you from here. No news is good news for now.
