Arriving in Argentina we were finally ready to view the famous Iguazu falls which were absolutely breathtaking. We spent the whole day there and didn´t even get to do everything on offer. The amount of water that pours into the devils throat, which is the highest point of the largest waterfall is just incomprehensible and the power and backspray are incredible. As one of our Mexican friends put it "If you were ever going to consider topping yourself, falling into the devils throat would be the way to go as what better last sight to have than falling into the misty abyss". Puerto Iguazu was a cool but small town with some good places to eat- introducing us to the first of many Argentina steaks that would be consummed in the country. The hostal was like a backpackers club Med with a giant pool, nice clean rooms and a massive common area although it did lack that personal touch that we recieved on the other side of the boarder.
