Europe 2012: Cultural Learnings of Europe for Make Benefit Glorious Group of 13 Young Strapping Lads
Maghull, Merseyside, England, United Kingdom, UK
I'm intending to write this as me and 12 of my best mates interrail our way around Europe starting in Budapest on the 1st of July and heading to Ljubljana, Bratislava, Krakow, Prague, Berlin, Hamburg, Amsterdam, Paris before hopefully finishing in Munich (money permitting). Knowing us we'll most likely get lost or be delayed along the way but the intent is there.
I don't know how regularly I'll update this while I'm away or if I will at all, but I hope to so that I have something to look back on when we get home as I'll most likely forget. Also, anyone interested (mum) can keep tabs on me while I'm away and, this way, I'll be able to keep note of the many inevitable jarg shouts that Frank will make as we go. Thinking on though it'll probably just turn in to me complaining about how much I hate train journeys and each of my friends but I'm hoping for the best with this.
After doing the almost traditional "lads holiday" to Zante last year, which I loved, we've decided to do something different this time round. By that I mean that this summer we'll be getting drunk off ridiculously cheap and obscure beers in bars throughout eastern Europe and spending half our time on trains as opposed to spending €6 on a vodka and coke in Cherry Bay or Aussie's Bar and lying by the pool all day with a crippling hangover, craving a Resolve. After having read about all the places we're going to on Tripadvisor and various forums, looked at pictures and watched other interrailing videos on YouTube I think we've made a good choice and I can't wait now to go in just twelve more days.
I hope I do keep this up, hope being the key word, and I'll try and post as many pictures of what we get up to/Frank being jarg/Sam being fat/Powell being drunk/Fallon being Fallon along the way.
