Ahh! What a good sleep in feels like. We slept in until 10 and we quickly had breakfast and headed down to ice skating. It was quite hard at first, but of course, mum got it and she was acting like the expert. She was teaching us some good techniques. I was holding onto the railing most of the time but I got it at the end. I slipped over and fell on my bum and I got saturated cause I slipped where some of the ice was melting! It was pretty funny but I couldn't get up! Then, mum fell flat on her face! Everyone was looking at her while she was laughing her head off. She couldn't get back up again! Jack fell over every five seconds. Dad was ok but I wouldn't say he was the best. Mum was the champion of our family, dad coming second and me and jack tying third. Then, we went to lunch at a little cafe. I had an American cheese toastie. It was delicious! Then we went to the American History museum. We saw the original red ruby slippers from the Wizard of Oz and the cp30 from Star Wars. We also saw how American food has evolved over time. It was pretty cool. Then we went to the archives museum where we saw the original Bill of Rights, Declaration of Independence, the Constitution and the Magna Carta. There was very high security here because the President was there that morning. Finally, we went to the shake shack for dinner. It was delicious! We walked home after that as we had to wake up at 3am for our flight to JFK! We are very excited!
