So, 3 full days in Lima. On this day we just went to spend the day at the beach with the whole family. Before we went to see where Jose's father Pepin works and then pass by quickly by the slightly dangerous yet interesting barrio de Callao while on our way to La Punta to see the stone beach and a kind of bird sanctuary.
From here 1h to the south to go to the beaches. We had lunch there - the tasty cebiche, ojo de Tigre and some fried fish, beer and a pisco drink with ginger ale. all of this while sitting in front of the sea! Sunset was at another beach and I was surprised by the huge sand dunes on all the way.
Back home some more pisco sours but now also of maracuya (divine!!!) and we went out at the cool neighborhood of Barranco to a really nicely decorated bar called ayuasca where I had my first mojito with .... Pisco!!!
Half drunk we went home to sleep a few hours and catch our flight to Cusco!
