Woke up and had an (almost forced) breakfeast made by our cs Ricardos mother - typical arequipa (Ill post some photos so you can see what it is!) with egg on top and a warm chocolate - and we were ready to hed to Salento. Very beautiful and cozy village, full of coloured small houses, a cute Plaza and some really nice stairs going up a hill where we could enjoyed the nice views of the village and looking on the other side, the breathtaking views of the Valle de Cocora, which kind of reminded the valleys of Switerland!! - green, amazing, with a strong and lively river passing by and some cows and small houses around... Silence and a green nature smell. Well worth going there!!!!
Down in the village for lunch, we had the cheapest and most complete lunch ever!!! For 2,40euros we had rice soup with banana (strange but true), trouch with frijoles (black beans), rice, salad, fried banana, a small arequipe (the bread thing made with corn) and something fried which I quite didnt understand... washed down with.. tomato juice!!
With this we were ready to head back to Armenia, say goodbye to the Colombian family we were with and head to the Spring city of Medellin to my friend's Audrey's friends!! A beatiful couple with a beatiful house!!!
And here we go! :)
