We reached the coffee fountain!!! (and Im also discovering that we reached the Dulce de leche country!!!!! I couldnt be more in heaven!!!)

After visiting very briefly Bogota - we will be back!! - we went on a 7h bus journey (very comfortable buses by the way!) from the capital to Armenia, one of the cities belonging to the Coffee Triangle.

Noisy and full of shops, cafeterias, cars and buses, the city has not much to offer more than a nice Plaza del Boliver and 2 nice churches, but it was fun to see the stands on the streets which sell basically everything!, and the busy life of a Coffee City.

We arrived early in the morning, went to our new cs friend who lived with his very nice mother, left our bags, and wen directly to a coffee plantation - Recuca! Very much worth it!!! Coffee beans in incredible green valleys and one of the best coffees I had! We did the whole tour, picked some coffee beans and had a full class on how to make a perfect coffee :) we even got dressed with the typical dresses of that time, so I have some photos coming up soon! hehehe

From this beautiful sunny day we went in a dark afternoon and discovered how the day can change in just a few minutes!! So, we had a dark rainy thunder afternoon and night!!!
