Uau... the biggest salt lake in the world... 12000km of salt and 2cm of water because of the rain. Couldnt see where the sky begun and the lake ended... amazing views and this was just the biginning of a 3 day tour by jeep with incredible people. 6 people (a couple from australia, one french and one italian who has been travelling in South America every year since he got retired for the last 12 years!!).

Amazing... since the salt lake and its mirror images, into an incredible desert with llamas and alpacas, donkeys and flamingos, red and green lakes... one active volcano covered by clouds (no luck here!!), mountains with snow on top (its cold here!!!!), geisers, and hot thermal waters :)

Incredible views all the way and really nice people with whom we travelled... loved every second of it... unless one part, on the last ady when we discovered that our driver had been drinking with the other drivers... we took his bottle (!!) away and managed to get our money back when we got back at Uyuni, and Ill tell the rest of the story later on!!

But it was worth coming here and enjoying this part of Bolivia!!!
