Islares to Santoña 32km

6:30 woke up
had breakfast and on the camino
followed the yellow arrows all day today.
found a black t shirt on the camino. it must fell down from one of the pilgrims backpack. so I picked up in case I meet the one lost t shirt.
a lot of paved road and a few villages today. not many places to sit down until Liendo. took a long break there. lack of sleep for last 5 days and I almost fall into sleep...
at Laredo there was some celebration. Martini was offered to just anybody :)
found Teresa & Sergio in the restaurant and joined them. met Sean here. as he had problem with his toe he took a bus.
walked on the beach for 4 km. very tiring walking on the sand:(
16:00 took a boat to Santoña.
here Bill & Julia joined. albergue was a bit way from the port.
daily routine and rest a bit.
went out for dinner at the bar.
had very nice ranchos and wine. anchovies are the specialities here.
back to albergue had some more wine then to bed...
