Saturday July 20 cloudy

Unquera (La Franca) to Llanes 24km

7:30 woke up. slept so well.
9:00 on the camino after breakfast. walked on paved road with traffics for a while.
10:30 Uli had an idea to enter the village, Buelna and walk along the beach instead. so we all ignored the arrow and followed Uli. met a woman with beautiful traditional dress. there will be a ceremony today at 12:30. sounded so interesting so went down to the beach to relax and back to the village.
12:30 the parade started. local people with colourful dresses. watched for a while and back to camino.
13:15 took lunch at the bar. a few pilgrims arrived at the bar and took a rest. there were Swiss twins who started from their house.
14:30 on the camino again
walked around the hill and overview of the ocean. heard thunderstorm a few times...
bathed in the beautiful river and continue. took another break at the bar for a drink. mix of clouds and sun.
took a wrong or long way by chance.
the camp site was closed for good and there is no albergue in Llanes. so we decided to sleep outside:)
went out for dinner at the restaurant. spent quite some time there and back to the church on the hill we passed. camped there. 2 of us in hammock 2 of us in the tent.
