Wednesday July 10 Sunny + clouds

Gernika to Lezama 23km

6:00 woke up
7:15 on the camino
breakfast was not enough so I stopped at the bar for coffee and croissant.
a lot of familiar faces, Nico, french father & daughter, passed by.
took a break here and there.
12:00 arrived at Larrabetzu. Julia was having drinks at the bar. I joined her and had an ice cream:)
we walked together till Lezama. it was just continuation of Larrabetzu, all paved road.
13:30 arrived at Lezama. We were the first one to arrive at albergue. it was closed till 15:00, but the laundry place was outside so I decided to wash socks. meanwhile the hospitaleiro came and opened the albergue.
did daily routine and went out for "menu" at the local restaurant.
16:30 back to albergue. it was already full. took a siesta.
tendonitis ... it's still there, but can walk normal epata with no problem! there was a culture centre above the albergue and some tunes of instruments came from above. it was a kind of bugpipe. nice sound...
18:30 went out for walk and drinks with Julia and a few others. Bill gave me a few tablets for my tendonitis.
22:30 night night time already camino symphony is on...
