Santoña to Güemes 25km

the guy next to me snored loud + non stop. so took a pillow and sleeping bag to the lounge. the German girl was there sleeping as well.
put 3 single sofa together and made a bed for myself. there was a wooden flame at the edge of sofa. it was not so comfortable as I thought it would be... 5:30 move back to my bed to stretch my body and lay down a bit.
6:30 out of the bed
7:45 on the camino after breakfast.
walked on the paved road and then some of us went to the mountain-beach way and some continued to walk on the road. I took a coastal way. nice little mountain climbing and then a long beach by the town again. it was again 4km walking on the beach, but it was not as hard as yesterday. found a big foot print. Bill must be here...
Teresa took off her cloth and jumped in the water. it looked so nice that I followed her:)
so nice and refreshing!
11:00 arrived at Noja. found Bill there and had Clara and pincho.
now we are 5 of us walking together, Teresa, Sergio, Bill, Santi and I. drunk left over white wine Bill was carrying at the break.
12:30 arrived at San Miguel and joined Sean & Julia who took paved road.
had lunch & Clara at the local bar.
15:00 back on the camino. as it was hot afternoon I put music on and walked too fast and I lost them:(
met other pilgrims by the church and went to albergue with them.
finally arrived at albergue. there was a Japanese boy volunteering as hospitaleiro.
it's a nice albergue with many different rooms & field.
long "meeting" at 19:30 then dinner. there were 50 volunteers working here!
it's an ideal place for sleeping outside so I did.
