La Pola de Siero to Venta del Escamplero 26km

6:45 woke up
8:15 on the camino after breakfast
mainly paved road for 3 hours then entered industrial area with heavy traffic. no interest walking so took a bus for 2kms in Oviedo.
I wanted to buy a hammock that Teresa had but there is no decathlon in Oviedo. and the sports store I went didn't have hammock either. did a bit of sightseeing along the camino. here we separate for north and primitivo.
had a nice small lunch at cafe. I accessed to wifi and found out that there was train accident in Santiago last night...
13:00 back to camino
it was nice hiking along the hill.
15:30 arrived at Venta del Escamplero. found the "casa de Fernando" for registration. 300m walk to albergue. Bill, Angela & Silvana were already there.
daily routine and be lazy.
19:00 went to the only restaurant in the village. 5 of us shared a nice big salads and cutlet with cheese. they were delicious but it was a bit expensive. 15.00euro for salad?!
it was good that we shared.
22:00back to albergue. other pilgrims were already asleep.
there is a man snore really loud. I hope I can sleep...:(
