Getaria to Deba 22km

8:00 woke up
got some pastries for breakfast and say "Gero Arte" to Inaki, Nagore & Ilargi.
9:00 back to camino. it's ways hard to leave nice people.. but I'm sure I will meet them again!
my ankle is in same situation for a week now. just a bit swollen but still a bit of pain...:( Nagore said it's a sign to think about the camino. I planned to complete but I have been thinking that completing the camino is not so important. I will see how it goes in a few days and decide to continue or stop.
I have been thinking that in today's camino. Inaki's sister works at the tourist info in next town but I couldn't find the info... well, maybe I didn't look for hard enough..
15:30 arrived at Deba, today's destination. as tourist info was already closed, we had to register at the police station. they did double booking for some beds and I was one of them. did a routine while waiting for hospitareiro comes to solve the problem.
16:30 everything was settled and time for sightseeing. there is an elevator between upper side of the town to the lower side which is the centre of the town.
went to beach but it was over crowded. it's like the beach in Tokyo! I miss the beach in Getaria...
it was too early to have dinner but I was too hungry to wait for dinner time. so had tapas and wine at the bar. there is not much to do in the town so I decided to do hot & cold treatment for my ankle. asked for a bagful of ice and ordered a pot of tea. I must have looked very strange putting tea cup at the ankle..:)
returned to albergue, more than 50 people checked in! the camino is getting really busy in everywhere...
I gave my legs a massage and rest a bit. I hope it will get better tomorrow..
