La Isla to Valdedios 31km

6:50 woke up
it's drizzling outside.
8:15 say "hasta Japon" to Julia. she is taking a bus to Gijon today.
on the camino after breakfast.
9:15 arrived at Colunga.
Bill and Sean stayed there for a break. we continued to walk.
we kept walking and slowly getting separated. Uli was taking a rest at the albergue when I got to Sebrayu. we thought Sebrayu was a village but it was just an area with few houses. Uli and I decided to continue walking and wait for them in Villaviciosa. 13:30 arrived in Villaviciosa and looked for a tourist info first, but t was closed. got some map at the city hall and went to lunch. had a huge Menu with 3 plates, dessert and wine for 10 euro. Asturias speciality "favada" was really filling.
Send a message to Teresa but no reply. so we gave up and back to camino again.
said "hasta Japan" to Uli and we started to walk separate ways. and I am alone again.
it was pretty hard to walk after a huge meal but made it!
16:30 arrived at monastery albergue in Valdedios. there were only 6 of us checked in the albergue.
did a daily routine and joined a tour of the monastery.
met a French man who started from Le Puy 2days after and did same route as I did!
tea and relaxing on the bed. easy quiet night.
