Monday July 1 clouds + fog + sun pretty chilly Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port 6:00 woke up had breakfast and shower. not much difference on ankle.. everybody off to their own camino and I am staying here for one more day... went to tourist info and got train info. and got ibuprofene for my ankle at the pharmacy. walked around the town and there was a street market today. back to the gite after a little sightseeing. had sandwich and ibuprofene. Sunday June 30 cloudy Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port 2.5km 6:00 woke up 7:00 nice breakfast Hyein showed up at gite offered me to join their travel in Basque in the car. It was a very nice offer and I said "yes!" immediately.. 8:30 went out to see Christelle off her camino. then I realised how bad my ankle is today. Saturday June 29 clouds Uhart-Mixe to Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port 28km 6:30 woke up 7:30 breakfast with nice breads & fresh squeezed orange juice:) tendonitis is still there.. a woman gave me a Reiki treatment. 8:30 on the camino. 10:00 arrived at 12:30 took a lunch break the man with beer on his hand on bicycle joined us. his bike weighs 80kgs! took a coffee break right after lunch break as we found a local cheese farm offering drinks and milk product...

Friday June 28 clouds + sun Navarre to Uhart-Mixe 32km 6:30 woke up 7:40 on the camino after breakfast 5 of us are going to the same place today so I decided to walk with them. it's so easy to walk with the guides. I just need to follow them. my tendonitis is still there. I can walk but a bit annoying..:( they all told me to drink a lot of water. so I will drink! took a long coffee break at the pâté shop/cafe. again, no toilet!:( 13:00 arrived at Aroue. ...
