Tuesday July 16 cloud + rain Güemes to Sta. Cruz de Bezama 25km + boat 30mins 7:00 woke up. I slept too well. my bedding were all wet:) 8:30 on the camino after breakfast. walk on the cliff after a few kilometres of paved road. there were many surfer practicing on the beach. took a break on the cliff and jumped in the water on the beach. 13:30 lunch at fancy local restaurant. 16:00 took a boat to Santander. wander around in Santander and I start to feel ...

Monday July 15 Sunny Santoña to Güemes 25km the guy next to me snored loud + non stop. so took a pillow and sleeping bag to the lounge. the German girl was there sleeping as well. put 3 single sofa together and made a bed for myself. there was a wooden flame at the edge of sofa. it was not so comfortable as I thought it would be... 5:30 move back to my bed to stretch my body and lay down a bit. 6:30 out of the bed 7:45 on the camino after breakfast. walke...

Sunday July 14 Sunny Islares to Santoña 32km 6:30 woke up had breakfast and on the camino followed the yellow arrows all day today. found a black t shirt on the camino. it must fell down from one of the pilgrims backpack. so I picked up in case I meet the one lost t shirt. a lot of paved road and a few villages today. not many places to sit down until Liendo. took a long break there. lack of sleep for last 5 days and I almost fall into sleep... at Laredo...

Saturday July 13 cloud + sun Pobeña to Israles 26km 6:45 woke up back to albergue to wash face etc. breakfast at the local restaurant. 7:30 on the camino took a coastal way and it was pretty for a while then to paved road. 10:30 arrived at Castro. it's a very beautiful city with nice beaches. had tapas and beer at the cafe. walked around Castro and followed Jose and Roberto as they were heading to the same direction. had to walk paved road for a long time...
