Monday June 3 Sunny but still chilly when I stop walking

7:00 get up
she was coughing all night, reminded me of myself 5 years ago. I was coughing for 10 ays my entire stay in UK.
went to the hotel for a breakfast and met a woman from Canada I have been seeing everyday. She is also going to Saint Tiago.
8:00 went to grocery shop for snacks.
JJ helped me try to call gite for reservation but no answer so I decided to go with a cross finger again.
8:30 on the camino again. there are a lot of people in Aubrac. it was windy hill until Aubrac but it started to be node and sunny afterwards.
11:30 took a break on the hill.
13:15 arrived at Saint Chely d'Aubrac, but tourist office was closed until 14:00. had some snack outside of the office. The gite I tried to call was in the same building but also closed for lunch.
The big van arrived with baggages for 10 pilgrims. they are traveling with suitcases!
14:00 a girl works at the tourist office came back. She said that there were 1 bed left this morning so she suggested me to go to the gite and check the list. Yes only 1 bed left in the gite so I put my name down. What a relief. I asked her to book a gite for tomorrow and for the day after. The one for the day after was already filling up. I got the last bed again.
Shower, laundry then explore the village. Familiar faces start to arriving in the village.
The German lady with red hair and her friends are taking a taxi to the next destination as they found it was hard walking downhills today.
Canadian lady is taking a taxi to another town as the agent could not find a hotel for her here. She is coming back here tomorrow morning to continue her camino.
it was only 5pm but I was so hungry so I decided to eat Aligot. All restaurant serves Aligot and I went to the one with a terrace.
asked for Aligot with beef and salad & a glass of local red wine.
it's mixture of fresh cheese and mashed potatoes. it's really tasty~!
back to gite to relax and chat with other pilgrims. The couple from last night is in the same room. she looks better than this morning. hope we all can get a sleep tonight.
so I got a box of mint tea and framboise cookies for an evening snack.

physical condition:
extreme dry skin on mid finger on left hand - almost gone
no pain on knees so far but felt a bit strange on left ankle - same as yesterday
