Tuesday June 11 cloudy + a bit of rain & sun

Gramat to Rocamador 12km

7:30 woke up
breakfast and got a stamp
9:30 on the camino with Camille, Hyein & Paul.
there were 2 routes to choose from in the forest so we followed the one Camille chose. that was amazing route with ruins and waterfalls.
I didn't expect to be such a nice trail. it was a good choice.
14:00 all the sudden out of expectation, the village on the cliff appeared in front of out eyes. it was like a magic. we all couldn't believe our eyes..
As we entered the main gate of Rocamador, there were so many tourists. but we didn't mind. it's a beautiful charming town from a fairy tale. we had a coffee at the cafe and off to the house we made a reservation. the house is for nuns but they offer dormitories for pilgrims. They said Ruis was there last night:)
Paul didn't have a reservation and the dorm was full so they offered him a single room on their floor.
after the daily routine, we explore this magical town. we had a local beer picnic just ourside by the river. very nice picnic with nice people. it's so strange that we met each other on the camino a few days ago and have such a feeling. Camille has a friend working here so we said "see you".
3 of us had a dinner at the restaurant and got on the night illumination train at 21:45.
it was just like a poster of Rocamador with light up from the other side. went back to the gite. as everybody was already asleep we had to sneak into the dorm.
