Cahors to Lascabanes (Durand) 24km

6:30 woke up
7:00 breakfast
8:00 on the camino
crossed a famous bridge in Cahors. the Bridge has a folk tale with devil. you can see the devil on the tower of the bridge.
along the camino I met the Canadian woman, Joan. the last time I met her was in Espalion! she is doing 30km+ today!
I think I will catch up with her again as she is taking a day off every week.
took a lunch break in Labastide-Marbhac. the little local bar/restaurant/grocery shop is
open 7 days a week:)
there is no clouds today. it's nice but sooo hot. I wanted to take a rest somewhere in the shade but I arrived in Lascabanes before I found one.
today's gite in not quite in Lascabanes, it's 1km off the route and 2 Kms to Lascabanes. got lost at the very end of the day. but there was a huge beautiful house on the hill and they told me where the gite is.
daily routine and took a rest on the bed. wanted to take a rest outside but there is no shade.. very quiet country side. there is nothing but a few houses.
I asked for dinner tonight. it will be at 19:00. there is no wifi. decided to study French a bit with my apps:) but didn't last so long...
I changed to game apps and time went by so fast:)
salad, sausages & rice, dessert and wine. it's always so nice to have dinner at gite. the only thing bothers me is presentation. each time they ask us to introduce ourselves. I try to say in French that's pretty embarrassing because my French is very limited. I really have to study!
I found out the itchy of the neck was not sunburn but prickly heat:(
