Golinhac to Conques 23km

6:00 got up as the group in the room woke up
had fruits & tea for breakfast
7:20 on the road
they said there are a lot to see in Conques so everybody is in rush to get there.
9:30 there is a house offering coffee/tea and cookies for pilgrims. so had a short break there. it's a really nice house with friendly lady. it was a house of "donativo" pay as you wish kind of accommodation.
bought a lunch at a local store in Espeyrac. I start to look for place to have lunch and finally found a place to sit down at around 11:30.
13:30 arrived at Conques. Yes it is a very beautiful small town along the hill with a loads of tourists:)
did the routine and sightseeing. asked tourist info. for making a reservation for Sunday. the first one was full but managed to get a shelter. it is getting harder to book an accommodation.
had panache-Internet break at the nice hotel lounge.
did grocery shopping and cooked simple dinner with rice at gite. I met a girl from Switzerland, Barblin there. We chatted and she told me about a special evening mass at the church. so I went to attend. it was nice although I didn't understand what they are saying. the atmosphere was nice, especially pipe-organ performance with lights. There I met a boy again who I met on the camino and people are talking about. 19 years old boy doing camino on his own without tent. he sleeps wherever. he is very religious and he says the god lead him to the Santiango. very nice boy with courage. I wonder where he slept tonight.
went back to gite at 22:00

physical condition:
insect bites on forehead 5 of them - still there

8.50 (nice red wine, rice, tomato, egg)
1.80 almond croissant
