Lectoure to Condom 23km

7:15 woke up

had yogurt & pear for breakfast

8:30 on the camino

it rained all night and it's still drizzling .. there were morning market on the Main Street in rain.

To avoid sticky muddy road, we decided to walk on regular road, D7 to Condom. it's shorter walk than GR65 but not much fun as the traffics is pretty heavy on the road.

we are not the only one chose to walk on D7.

I think they all took this way.

took a little break under the huge tree. continued on walking.

arrived at Condom at 13:45.

the gite Caroline arranged for us tonight was former convent. the building was big and I thought I would get lost... there was a volunteer hospitaleiro in the gite, like Spanish alberge. he welcomed us in the salon with fireplace. it's so nice to have fireplace such a wet and cold day.

there offer some cultural classes and accept some residents and pilgrims.

after daily routine, had sandwich at the terrace. they have a beautiful garden here. it would have been so nice if the weather is nice...

went out for sightseeing on the rain. there I met a Belgium woman for the last time as it's their last day here. I don't know their name but I met them everyday on the route. sad to lose the familiar faces but that's a part of camino...

back to the gite and had Floc as aperitif.

19:30 the bell rang. it's the dinner time. again, I ate too much... hard to asleep..
