Cloudy but it looks there is no sign of rain today!
7:30 breakfast
tried to make a reservation a gite in Aumont-Aubrac, but there is no answer..
8:30 left gite with a little hope.
My luggage weighs very little today on my shoulder. maybe because I am getting muscle?
Caught up with those pilgrims who left earlier at St-Alban-sur-Limagnole. bought a half baguette and my favourite almond croissant!
Took a little break in the forest.
I noticed I already know a lot of pilgrims along the route. A lady I met said her son is married to a Japanese woman and they live in Hamamatsu:)
it started sunny after noon. I took off my jacket for he first time~!
I guess I do not need to wear heat tech tomorrow.
Wanted to another break but it was too windy so I continued walking.
14:00 arrived at Aumont-Aubrac
went straight to tourist information. She said that all gites are full but the one with breakfast for 20E. She checked the one in the next town also but it was full.
No other choice but taking this. she tried to call a gite but no answer. she suggested me to go to gite directly. I went out and try to find gite but I was in the wrong area. there was a gite, too. It was full off course, but the owner said another gite has a bed available for tonight. I got the address and the owner was right! They had a bed for tonight. The owner of the gite helped me calling a gite for tomorrow. I got a lesson. I am going to make a reservation in advance in France.
Took a walk after shower. Some firemen's demonstration was happening but too cold to watch, so I went for a local wine at a local bar.
there is a firemen's congress today in the town. many classics cars start gathering in the town.
microwave oven food for dinner(rabbit!) and a local beer for dinner.
a group of French family checked in. 3 sisters, 1 brother and 2 husbands.
nice chat with them.
22:00 bed time.

physical condition:
extreme dry skin on mid finger on left hand - get better
took off the taping on the right knee, changed to different type of taping.

7.50 grocery shopping (beer, microwave food, peanuts, tomato)
2.80 Red wine
1.60 almond croissant & a half baguette
