In Budapest we visited the synagogue and exhibition of all things Jewish - interesting. Also saw photos of the Bpest ghetto from where so many ended up in Auschwitz. Sorry this is so boring without photogrqphs. Perhaps we haven't taken enough! Hardly likely. Spent today visiting a small village about 20 kms away on the Danube. It was both lovely and ghastly because of all the trippers like us! But we were able to find quiet little lanes away from all the other people. Also visited my first Orthodox church.
