Today was our free day to explore, so Stephanie and I woke up around 6:30 am eager to start our day! As we have been walking around we kept mental notes of the things we wanted to do today. When we walked up to the Royal Mile, the streets were already filing up with people. The weather was beautiful, sun was shining, and it was already very warm. We walked around and checked out the Museum of Childhood History then made our way to Market Street to go to the Dungeon. I was the only one who would go in! Stephanie decided to do some shopping instead. It was fun and the actors were very comical, I didn't really find it very scary but it was amusing.

After that we caught our first bus, by ourselves, and went to check out the Botanical Gardens. As we walked through the paved paths we saw beautiful flowers, trees, and lots of green! The garden was busy, on such a nice day the people in Scotland were taking advantage of the unusually nice weather. When we returned to the Royal Mile we did a little more shopping and stopped before heading back to our hotel for some take away dinner.
