Tracey Awesome picture of the two of you with the falls. True birders with those heavy duty binocs. Hope you are still having fun and are feeling well. Thanks for continuing to share.
re: Canastra National ParkTracey Congrats on the Merganser sighting... and I am not a fan of spongy toilet seats either. :) However, you are going to have to show he square ones... hahaha
re: MergansersTracey Wow so interesting and SOOOO sad about the dam break/toxic waste and NO remediation. Uggh. Thanks for sharing all of this really interesting.
re: Ouro Preto to Belo HorizonteTracey How come we didn't get a picture of the Swallow-tailed Manakin? tee hee. Still sounds like a fascinating adventure. So fun. Wish we could join you.
re: Hiking in Caraca National ParkJudy What a beautiful bird! Sounds like y'all are having a great trip...
re: Exploring the SanctuaryTracey Amazing... LOVE the Maned Wolf. They have a collection of them at Lincoln Park Zoo. Very cool. Thanks for the updates.

re: The Search for the Elusive CanesteroTracey Fun picture of parrots!! Sounds like an awesome adventure and a trip of a life time.
re: Travel Day: New Time, New StateTracey :) Great report. Fun to hear about the food and interesting flour. I saw almond flour at Costco yesterday, I may have to try in smaller quantity... So fun and funny about the Emu walking into "resort" around pool.
re: Heat in the PantanalSuzi The stork is called a Jabiru, with a black and red head. It must be related. Bigger tho - 51". Common here in the Pantanal, but our first one was in Belize and they were hard to find there.
re: Jaguars!!Tracey The Anteater picture is fun. I'll have to look up the brocket deer. I am not familiar with that one. :)
re: Baby DayTracey Also that blue headed stork is interesting. Is it similar to a Maribou Stork in anyway besides appearance?
