Today as been rather a bizarre day, and I'm not quite sure why... The 2nd part of the England Presentation was pretty much a disaster, with the kids notbeing interested and more into trying to beat each other into a pulp than listen to what i had to say. It's hard to discipline them well, when they just sit there and mock your accent too... The TA wasn't much help, but she was probably as bored as the kids. But at least that group is done now. Just a quick update - I have fulfilled what I really wanted out of being a teacher! A student gave me a hug when she said goodbye to me :) Honestly, I felt like I'd accomplished something HUGE! Cheered me right up and made the last few days seem like nooothing! It's not a big deal really, but I think if a student is prepared to hug you, it shows that they see you as a person, not some scary figure of authority.
