The day dragggged up untill 4pm today. Urgh, I was SO bored. Not good. But I had the VIP session with a boy called John at 4pm, that Paul normally has. It went really well, I actually really enjoyed it. The hour flewww by, which is always nice. He's wanting to study his masters in Canada, so is having sessions to improve his Oral, as his test score for it was too low last time he applied in March or so. He's clearly very intelligent, but his vocabulary needs extending, so that's what we're working on :) Was really interesting to do. We were talking about ways to describe someone's physical appearance, and we got onto skin colour. He said, "there's three right? White, black...and yellow". I had to try really hard not to laugh... but I explained that calling someone yellow is maybe not the nicest thing.. and he seemed surprised. He told me that it's not nice to call someone yellow in Chinese either, but thought that's what all Westerners called Asians! I hastily corrected him. We're not all that mean! I felt awful! Telling him the difference between red-heads and gingers was fun though. It's sdo interesting descirbing things that you've known all your life to someone. Challenging sometimes, but infintely interesting.

Had Life Club again tonight, it was Crafts tonight! They were making fabric pictures, I've got a few pictures which I'll add later. Unfortunately I didn't get a group photo, as the camera was on the video setting and the girl i'd asked to take the photo didn't realise.. But I got a nice video of us all :D Haha. Ah well :) It all went without a hitch, and I taught the kids some colours and shapes. All very easy!

Got another pretty easy day tomorrow, but it starts earlier! 9am Oral English which should be good, and then I only have the Staff meeting at 12, and Placement Testing 4-5... I think I'm going to plan my lessons in advance, to kgive me something to do. I can't spend the day doing nothing again, I'll go off my rocker!

THe washing machine is playing up... the thing at the bottom which makes the clothes spin keeps floating so the clothes DON'T spin. It's doing my head in. I just want properly cleaned clothes!! Rawr. Best go fiddle with it again... I'm worried that one day the spinnign mechanism is going to take my hand off. Wish me luck!!
