Thought i'd use a nice picture of Daming Lake today :) It looks so much nicer in the sun than the usual grey!

Today was... frantic. I was very near tears at one point in the afternoon due to pure frustration. I think I let this week get a bit on top of me, and then my Oral English class consisted of only 6 students - which is a hard number for a proper discussion on Honesty which is what I wanted. So I got rather upset at my myself. I've very tired, I'm sick of lesson plans, and it got to me! But overall my lessons today did go well. The second part of the little'uns England Presentation was fine, I'll miss that class. The Oral English wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be, but I do prefer a bigger class! Then I had a couple of hours to myself so I planned my next lkessons, then came up to the flat and CLEANED. It's always been theraputic for me, and so I swept and mopped the floor, cleaned the bathroom and tidied up the rubbish. Then, I found a Jeremy Clarkson book so I sat on my bed, read that, dozed off for half hour or so, and then woke up to go to my classes! I was in a MUCH better mood. Nothing that good ol' Clarkson can't fix! Friday evenings are my worst little classes, but the first group were great today. It helped that my Chinese TA was awesome. She kept them calm and quiet (as much as possible) and I think that was definitely the best lesson I've ever had with them! The second group weren't so great, but that was probably due to the work being too hard and the TA's major being in Japanese... not English. He was such a sweet guy though, I felt bad... but after class he helped me carry my stuff and walked me to my flat so I wouldn't get rained on :) and apologised for being no help haha. Bless.

Sooo that's been my day. I'm now sat on my bed having ate my dumplings, and chatting to Chris (and now Louise) which is highly pleasant :) Hoping that the weekend will bring a sense of normality to me, and then I've got BEIJING! We don't get our schedules til Sunday, but I'm hoping next week isn't QUITE as crazy... But we shall see.
