Well, I absolutely LOVE having the internet here! Spent the evening chatting to Mum, Somerset and Urquhart which has been lovely, and now I've just managed to catch Helicopter Glenda too so i'm a very happy Bun!
Probably should be in bed, but it's been too nice catching up with people. My next class isn't untill 1.30pm so it's not an early start! Tomorrow will be pretty overwhelming. Second part of the presentation, and my two worst classes. I'll get these kids to obey me soon.. it's more difficult because they're they very youngest ones, so they sometimes find it hard to follow what I'm saying, and the Teaching ASsistant doesn't always translate my discipline! Also both classes seem to have one student in that causes the others to riot. In the first class it's a large boy who has a booming voice, and distracts others. In the second, it's a small boy with glasses who is awfully aggressive in his speech, although his spoken English is brilliant for someone his age . He's only about 6, but he speaks really well. I just wish he'd speak a tad quieter... as he gets the others all excited!
I'm looking forward to the weekend though, that's going to be a nice slice of normality! Standard 6 classes over the 2 days, nice and easy.
Exciting news, Paul and I are most likely going to Beijing again on Monday!! AHHH I'm so excited!! I've decided to be naughty and go ahead with it, as I was so disappointed that we missed out seeing the city itself properly because of the hoo-haa with the tour bus... so i'm absolutely ecstatic to get this second chance! Forbidden City, Tianamen Square, Summer Palace, Olympic City... I shall see all :D Expect MAJOR blog-age (not blockage, which is what that word looks like...) and MAJOR photo uploads on Facebook!! Can't wait :)
The days after that are going to be a little hectic. I've got 4 summer school sessions to do, which means more presentations, as well as another Life Club. It's the flags again, but with more advanced kids, slightly older, so I no doubt will have to do another presentation! They weren't kidding when they said summer school was going to keep us busy!
I'm loving it though, although at the time I complain about it being difficult, I think the challenge is really good for me. It's certainly driving me forward. It hasn't put me off teaching yet! Only encouraged me! So that's definitely a plus.
I've spent the last 2 hours on Skype to various family members, and the last 25 minutes of that on a video/voice call with Somerset and the others at home. Was so lovely to hear voices and stuff, so that'll be me going to bed very happy.
I shall let you know how tomorrow goes...!
Night night xx
