Ni Hao :)

Halfway through my first day of teaching and I think it's going ok, I'm finding it difficult to speak slowly though, and those who know me will know why!! But I hope they're not completely lost. At least I've had a good conversation with some of the kids. This is a 'Get Ready' class, for people who are either about to travel abroad, or who just want to build on their existing knowledge of English.

There's a guy who's going to Plymouth to study for at least 2 years, a woman who's going over to Canada (with her husband and daughter I presume) and a girl who wants to go and study in Michigan! It's challenging to hold a conversation, but rewarding when you manage it :)

Well I better go back, my 15 minutes break is almost up but I'll post again later after my last class tonight, I've got 'High Fliers' which is the little kids :) And I'm looking forward to that. Hopefully that'll go ok! For now... back to motivational Meeting People talk!!
