i really like singapore. i went to the night safari last night (thanks craig), and that was amazing. seeing all these animals in more comfortable surroundings for them, acting a lot more naturally. my favorite part was the giant fruit bat enclosure where you could walk through and see these giant bats. i had one less than a foot away from my head at one pont and i didnt even notice until it started beating its wings! today i want to the actual zoo and got caught in the rain, unfortunately not a pina colada in sight though. the heavens opened at about two o clock and didnt stop until about half five. heavy, heavy rain. i got absolutely soaked through to the bone. still, had a good tme seeing the animals. tomorrow i am planning to explore little china and a few other districts of singapore on the mrt rail system which is so amazingly good. we could doo with taking a few notes from it for the trains back home! i have to sort out a ticket to KL and bangkok tomorrow as well as re-arranging a flight, i have quite the full day ahead of me i think.
