Another lazy morning with a nice cafe breakfast and reading our books.
Visited a local ‘human gallery’ - owned by a Spanish man Joseba Extebaria who travelled around 30 countries in 4 years on his bicycle, living with the locals and taking photos of people in all the countries - lots of brilliant shots of people exhibited in the gallery. His aim is to expose deeply human stories and inspire change to show lots of different cultures. Every picture comes with a story.
Spent the afternoon visiting the old bamboo train (number 1 tourist attraction in Battambang).
Chugs along about 15km/hr with a distance of 4km each way, taking about 10 minutes long, with a 10 minute stop at some locals houses trying to sell you stuff. Was good fun, not sure it was worth $10 but all for a good cause giving to the community.
A quick stop off in an ‘ancient house’, on the way home, another tourist attraction but nothing exciting and not worth the 25p tip we gave.
Finished the evening off with dinner at the night market, an hour khymer (all over body) massage and a 3rd shake of the day.
This is a hard life..
