Hello everybody, sorry its taken so long to be in touch but its been really hectic lately.
Our travels so far........ we headed down the East coase of New South Wales, doing a diversion to Canberra on the way, then down into Victoria in late January. Then we took another diversion inland up the Great Apine Road to Wangaratta via the brewery and winerys naturally! The route took us over the great dividing range and through Hotham, which is at the top of the mountains and one of Oz's premier skiing resorts - we missed the snow by about 8 months though - gutted!
The wineries here are fab, you get a list of all their wines/ports and a suggested tasting order and away you go. Needless to say we were quite merry and had a car full of wine when we finally got back to the campsite! We were there for Australia Day too so we went to Wangaratta Races during the day (Sally and Big Ron would have loved it) and then to Gapsted Winery to watch Casino Royal under the stars in the evening (and sample their wines obviously - it would be rude not to!).
From there we headed back down to the coast and round towards Wilsons Prom (mainland Oz's most Southerly point) which is a huge National Park where you can camp and see the wildlife really close, its lovely and unspoilt. We went to the loo one evening and came back to the tent to find a wombat sat outside having supper, they are very fat and cute though - not scary!!
After that we headed West to Philip Island which is a bit of a resot for the Ozzys really. Its full of attractions like the Koala Reserve and Grand Prix Circuit and lots of good beaches to body board on. Its also home to the little Fairy Penguins who come to shore every night and waddle back to their burrows, oblivious of all the peaople cooing over them as they go past. You can't take pictures of them or touch them which drove us crazy but they're just so gorgeous, we love em.
From Philip Island we headed to the Mornington Peninsular to visit Pat and Marko in Dromana. They totally spoilt us, taking us sight seeing and feeding us loads of Italian food and drink - and we got to sleep in a real bed for the first time in over a month!! It was sad to leave but we had tickets booked for the ferry to Tazmania so off we went again..... refreshed.
We're still in Tazzie now and so far have been around the West half of the island from Devonport (which is on the River Mersey believe it or not!) to Hobart, and we're now on our way to Port Arthur which is a historic convict site on the South-West coast. We're going on a guided ghost tour at dusk when we get there wwwoooooooo!! Its been really good here, we've done loads of hiking and sight seeing - including walking to the top of Cradle Mountain, visiting the Tazmanian Devils and mountain biking down Mount Wellington!
We spent last weekend in Hobart and decided to spoil ourselevs and stay in a hotel, go out for all our meals and sample all of the local bars - so it was an expensive one but definatley worth it! They have a market on a Saturday in Hobart called the Salamanca Market which is huge, they close all the streets onto the waterfront and there are stalls, live bands and cafes everywhere - even Brad enjoyed it! The seafood here is lovely too, there are moored barges all over the harbour selling all kinds either cooked or raw.
We have loads of photos to put on, as you can imagine, but haven't found a place to do it yet. When we get back to Melbourne we'll get them on though.
Lots of love, still missing you all

Hey you two!
Thought I would share my good news with you, Lynsey had the baby last night at 11.35pm (missed Ash's birthday by 25mins!). We have another bruiser, a boy, weighing in at 9lb 14oz and called Harry. Not a straight forward one, Lyns was in hospital for 2 days before he finally came out and after all that she ended up having to have a c section. Harry apparently has a black eye and a few cuts but otherwise mum and son doing well!!! Am trying to get this afternoon off so I can go and see him so will email you photos when I have some. As you can see I am very excited and will probably be worse when I have seen him but i am nothing compared to Jake. He has already made a card saying 'to Harry Morrison, I love you and I am glad you came out. Would you like some of my DVD's'!!!! I love kids mentality!
Hope the travels are still going well and will update you on Harry's progress when I have some news.
Love you and miss you millions still
