| Thursday, June 20, 2013 -- Beaugency to Chambord -- Biking Day 2 |

We marveled once again at the 13th Century bridge across the Loire as we left Beaugency behind us, heading west along the north side of the river. We traveled 16 km, much of it on dedicated bike path that passed by a few small villages, farmland, and two giant nuclear power cooling towers. Crossing the river to Muides sur Loire, we continued another 6 km to St. Dyé sur Loire, where we turned south for another 5 km to arrive at the spectacular Château de Chambord. That makes 27 km so far today and six kids hungry for le dejeuner avec la glace!
