Once more hello to you all,
I am somewhat perplexed as to the best way to wrap up my entire experience in one last blog. I am trying to think of what you would be most interested in. You may ask, "Did you enjoy the trip."
"Yes and no."
"What part did you enjoy?"
"Lots of things: seeing the country, get…

Dan,
Love reading your writings. My dad (a retired English teacher) would enjoy your blogs well, especially your thoughts on worrying. You are so good in written verse I feel like I need to look up every word to make sure I am using the proper words to express my thoughts. Enjoying your site a lot - and the pictures add another dimension. This way I am able to see through your eyes the sites of Scotland. Hope you are having some time to enjoy the golf as well. Take care, Dan

Dan,
Have enjoyed reading and printing your blogs to send to Grandpa and Rita who enjoy reading about your thoughts and adventures in Scotland. I can understand how you would feel that one semester away from home is enough. When Lon returned from Thailand after one semester (or actually 6 months) his senior year at St. Olaf, I asked him what was the highlight of his time in the Far East. He said "coming home"! At 41 he still likes to think about the wonderful experience it was for him and would even like to have gone on a 3 - week return which his now retired professor is leading. But not so easy to get away with 3 children at home these days. Make the most of your time there and the people you meet.
Love,
Joey and Steve

Dan,
Remember when I always told you that you remind me of my brother? Wow, I think you are honestly his twin. You guys are the most wonderful writers ever. I absolutely love reading your blogs. You succeeded...I was satisfied in the end after all of my reading. What an experience you are encountering. We all miss you here at school, and we are excited to hear about all of the great opportunities and experiences you are going through. Miss you a lot. Take Care.

Great blog Dan. Enjoy your experience.....you will remember it for the rest of your life. I'll always remember those characters I met in the Air Force and seeing a bit of the world from their view. Your writing makes this family's generations of readers proud. I'm on the road with Grandpa to Arizona next week, we will be on our own road trip. Take care and keep writing and don't fear, your thoughts captivate!!

Love to see the pictures you have added. Cold and rainy here. What is the weather like now over there? Not much here for colors on the trees. Mainly yellow or they fall off. Enjoy reading our sight. Take care.
