Today we explored more of Vienna. First we had a brief driving tour around the city which showed us a couple of the most famous sites. Included in these were the concert hall, St Stephens cathedral and the statue of Marie Therese. Marie Therese was the first roman empress and she's my new idol! Today we travelled from Venice to Vienna in Austria! As we passed the border the differences in landscape were amazing. Straight away the land morphed into massive rocky hills and indeed they did seem alive. For anyone who missed that, the sound of music originated from Austria and it was awesome to see the hills that inspired that famous song sung by Julie Andrews from the movie.
