Sydney 4th-7th March

Hey guys,

Sydney was everything we were expecting and more! The opera house is really cool to see in the flesh, especially as we have seen it so many times on the tv!

The day of our arrival was a bit of a nightmare as all the hotels had been booked for the national mari gras which happened to be on the same weekend we were in Sydney. This made it really hard to find any accomodation. When we finally got some it was to late to do much so we explored darling harbour at dusk, fed ourselves and went to sleep pretty soon after.

The next two days we spent getting to see some of sydney, they operate a really good and cheap ferry service around the harbour which is a great way to see the city and get to Boni Beach at the same time.

On our final day we had a look around to see if Mardi Gras had started to kick off but not much was happening except the streets filling up with traffic so we got on our way to the airport, next stop Singapore!
