So we finally have arrived in Paris. Mudeford was a quaint village and a great time seeing my old roommate again. We made the bus to London just fine and caught the tube over to Waterloo to book our train to France, but due to the Rugby tournement in Paris, all trains were booked until Saturday. We finally managed to book a coach that left today and then booked a hostel in London for the night. I thought it was a hostel I used to stay at years ago, but it turns out, as they told us from the reception, that they bought another hostel and we were booked there and it was 20 minutes away. We found the place just fine and it was actually a nice place, despite the band downstairs playing covers of the rolling stones. It just felt nice to sleep.
The coach today departed London at 9:30 and was stuck in traffic behind a stalled bus in London, but was still able to make the 1:00 ferry from Dover. But some idiot managed to get off the bus while going through passport control and never got back on causing us a delay getting off in france. Then more driving and we arrived in Paris at 7:45 that night. We arrived at our hostel and they lost our reservation due to yesterday, even though we e-mailed and said we were arriving today. So they sent us down the street to another place for the same price where the lock broke and Megan got stuck in the bathroom for 10 minutes. She was laughing so hard it sounded like she was crying, thank god she wasn't! Tomorrow we plan on visiting the great city of Paris and relaxing after 2 hellish days of travel.
Thanks for writing to us and we promise pictures tomorrow.
Love, Aaron and Megan
