Spent a lot of today having to re-pack everything - so much stuff!
Did managed to fit in a little tour of Grand Central Station. I say little tour as I left after 20 mins - it was 1 1/2 hours long! Only so much you can learn about a train station. But it was a very nice building.
Decided New York's actually ok as far as America goes. Very easy to navigate around, but I'd still never want to drive here. I don't envy taxi drivers at all. The road signs are totally funny as well. For ages I couldn't work out why the markings on the road kept pointing out "crossing schools" and wondered if Americans needed to go to school to learn to cross the road, cos it is a really weird system. Turns out they just write it wrong on the road, so it was actually "school crossing". Opps.
Also walked across Brooklyn Bridge at night which was really pretty as it gave a nice view of the Manhattan Skyline.
