Well, the tournament is over. We ended up losing in the semi-finals to a Japanese team. They were a very strong team, but we gave them a pretty good game. We ended up finishing 4th at the tournament, which is not too shabby, eh? The Japanese were really precise in their throws, especially in the wind, and they had fewer unforced errors. I played 6 days in a row of ultimate, so I'm going to take a break now. I went to the beach yesterday and put my feet in the Indian Ocean. It was really breezy there and a little chilly, so I just took some photos. Today I went to Kings Park, which is a really nice and lush park right in Perth's city limits. A couple of team mates and I also watched an air show that was taking place on the river front in town. Most of my team has departed for various adventures or for their return back to the US. As for me, I still have plenty of time to explore. The hours that restaurants and shops keep here are more in line with Europe than the US. Many places close in the evenings and on the weekends. They are also early in putting up their Christmas decorations here too. Some of the streets downtown are decorated with Christmas trees and other related decorations. It's weird to be wearing shorts and seeing Christmas related decorations around. Hope all is well with each of you. Take care and much love.
