Ibuprofen is My Friend
Sorry that I haven't had much time to write this week. I have been so consumed with this tournament. We wake up early in the morning and play games during the day with a break for lunch. By the time we get back to the apartment we're renting and eat dinner, I'm ready for bed. I'm getting more adjusted to the time now. The games everyday are very challenging as the teams here are really strong. So, here comes the need for daily ibuprofen! Tonight the tournament held an exchange event at the fields where people can bring extra jerseys they have and exchange them with others from different teams. I traded one of my jerseys with someone from the Sydney women's team call Southside. It's really fun competing against teams from other countries. At the end of the game we all gather around in a circle and exchange gifts to each other. My team, Ozone, has gone 6-1 so far in the tournament. We have beat a few teams from Australia, New Zealand, and Japan. We lost to another Japanese team (there are many Japanese teams). The tournaments ends this coming Saturday, so we'll see how it turns out. Hope everyone is well. Take care.
