We are, after a lovely summer "en France", en route for the USA. We are so lucky to have been able to experience another summer in France, but we are also happy to be going home to our "real life" as well. Tuesday was "move out day". It's a little bizarre to move out, while leaving all your stuff there for someone else to manage. We are surrounded by moving boxes (yet again!), and winding up our final weekend here in sunny Languedoc. It's been a great summer! Here are last week's highlights! This past week in Languedoc was a bit different. We were invited to two lovely French homes, and enjoyed the wonderful hospitality of our guests, old friends and new ones. On Tuesday, we were very surprised to receive a phone call from the lovely man we met the Saturday before at the Romeo and Juliet production. So, here we are with only 2 weeks left of our summer in Languedoc. We leave here Tuesday, Aug. 28 for Aachen, Germany (to see Charlemagne's chapel and throne), then Paris (we're meeting our Swiss friends there), before leaving Aug. 31 for the states. Hi everybody! You all know that Les and I love changing house. And that I particularly am addicted to houses. We've had a long string of houses, generally moving (or at least thinking about it!) every 2 years. Well, here we go again.
