#Just wanted to note that i enjoyed meeting you hugely:-) Just read your blog (thank godness your Mama sent me the url) and am glad your on your way. I've never explored Singapore other than the airport several times but had the hunch that it would be too twee for me.....sounds as if I could be in the ballpark.

Apparently, visiting the WW2 sites are rather good and quite moving - might be worth a try before you move on.
