One of the most iconic sights in Seattle is the snowcapped peak of the impressive Mt Rainier. On this small-group, full-day tour, experience this incredible area as you explore the glaciers, waterfalls and wildlife with an expert guide while traveling in a luxury Mercedes van. Hike or snowshoe (depending on the season) to get a real sense of the mountain’s beauty and dine on a gourmet picnic lunch. During the summer months (July-Oct), choose a later departure and enjoy a sunset hike and gourmet dinner at a restaurant 7,000 feet (2,133 m) up on Mt Rainier.

Discover beautiful Mt Rainier on this luxury, small-group tour from Seattle. Set between the jagged Olympic Mountains and the volcanic peaks of the Cascade Range, Mt Rainier, an active volcano encased in snow and ice, is the tallest peak of them all, standing at 14,411 feet (4,392 m). This tour offers ample opportunities for adventure, exploration, learning and fun!

After complimentary hotel pickup, head to Mt Rainier by luxury Mercedes van. Once you arrive, admire the surrounding old-growth forest, lakes, waterfalls stunning wildflower meadows as your naturalist guide leads you on a short hike or snowshoe trek along the Nisqually Vista trail, or possibly something a little more challenging if the group is up for it. Binoculars are provided to help you spot birds and wildlife, such as marmots, coyotes, elk, deer, fox and black bears that roam the mountainside.

The standard year-round Mt Rainier tour includes a gourmet picnic lunch (sample menu in Itinerary section), morning tea with pastries and refreshments throughout the day.

During the summer months of July through October, a sunset Mt Rainier tour with afternoon refreshments and a gourmet dinner is available. Departing at 1pm from Seattle, explore Mt Rainier with an expert guide and discover the mountain with a hike to Sunrise point. From the Sunrise Visitor Center, take the famous Mt Rainier gondola (ticket included) to the Crystal Mountain Lodge to dine on a delicious dinner (sample menu in Itinerary section) at the Summit House restaurant. Situated 7,000 ft (2,133 m) up on Mt Rainier, this is a dining experience like no other!
