After complimentary pickup from your Dunedin hotel, travel south through the town of Milton and through the Manuka Gorge to Lawrence, an area famous for the Gabriel’s Gully Gold Rush of 1851. Here, stop for a complimentary hot beverage at the Wild Walnut Cafe.
Continue north through the rolling New Zealand countryside through the famous orchard town of Roxburgh and along the course of the Clutha River, the South Island’s longest river. Arrive in Alexandra, a town home to several wineries. Here, you'll enjoy a tasting at one of the following wineries: Three Miners, Shaky Bridge, Judge Rock or Hinton Winery.
Next, head to Northburn Station, a 33,360-acre (13,500-hectare) sheep station that has diversified its traditional grazing operation to include a vineyard and winery restaurant.
