From there, you'll head for 75-Mile Beach to enjoy a fresh picnic lunch on the white sands of 70 miles of uninterrupted beach. Keep an eye out for dolphins, dingos and sea birds.
After lunch, travel north up the eastern beach of Fraser Island to head for Eli Creek, a fast- flowing freshwater stream. Relax and take the beautiful boardwalk to the top of the creek and float down this picturesque stream.
The next stop on your eco-adventure is Lake Wabby. Travel by 4WD to the start of the 20-minute walking track which takes you through the lush and thick eucalyptus forest to the deepest lake on Fraser Island, famous Lake Wabby. Your return walk takes you through the Hammerstone Sandblow, a massive sand dune which plunges into Lake Wabby.
Your first day will conclude with check-in at the Eurong Beach Resort and a delicious buffet dinner at the resort.
Day 2: Fraser Island to Brisbane or the Gold Coast (B,L)
Get an early start on your second day with a continental breakfast before heading to Central Station to visit Fraser Island's lush subtropical rainforests.
